What is this challenge all about?

Ok, here's the gist of it.

This challenge is basically just a 30 day period of time in which we'll try to make some better choices, follow the points guidelines (over there on the sidebar -->) and try to rack up the most points to win. In so doing, we'll hopefully make some new healthier habits that'll stick around.

What's the point? What's the prize?

Well, for starters--bragging rights. You'll be famous on this here blog. We'll post your picture and name right at the top of the sidebar. You'll be our beacon of inspiration for the next challenge. How about improved health, self esteem and maybe even a smaller dress size?

Also, I'm gonna' throw in a $25 gift card. Anybody else interested in donating to the cause will just up the ante.

Points Breakdown

10 points - Eat your calorie range

1 point - Eat your fruits and vegetables for the day (it is not a point per f/v) .

1 point - Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner

2 points - Drink 64 ounces of water

1 point - No Soda Pop!

1 point- Multi-vitamin

5 points- 30 minutes of exercise

1 point- EACH ADDITIONAL 15 MINUTES OF EXERCISE. For each 15 minutes above your 30 minutes of daily exercise, you can add 1 point. There is no limit to the amount of points you can accumulate.

3 points - Food journal

3 points - Comment on the daily post, or create a post of your own.

1 point - stop eating 2 hours before bedtime
