Eat more fruit!! And veggies...

I am NOT tracking my points today.
lol
If I did, I'd probably end up in the negative.

It's my birthday, and I'll cheat if I want to!

Saw this on Pinterest....
wonderful, no?

An apple a day really does keep the doctor away!

I'm making a mini goal for myself for the next week to do a better job of getting my fruits and veggies all in my belly!!!

And I probably will post my pitiful lack of points later today.

What's your total for week 1?

An apple a day keeps the doctor away....if you're a good shot they say :P

Now we have to count down our points for the week. Come on Mikki this is your healthy challenge and your blog. You should do it (I am just looking for lame excuses so as not to do it).
Er...I think my points for the week have been 156.
Let's see if I can do as well this week.
First I don't think I am going to run as much.
I think that I'll run 4 days a week being: Monday; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I'll rest from all kind of sport on Sunday and I am already doing 1h30 of Aïkido on Tuesday and Thursday. I think it is plenty of sport already.

I just found out that my breakfast fruits juice is better with cherries by the way. Strawberries, orange, ginger AND cherries.

Concerning the picture you posted Mikki actually any veggie or fruit being Red containes what you need to prevent cancer. It is the element that helps fight cancer that gives the red color. Cherries, Strawberries, red bell pepper, tomatoes...all red...all fighting cancer.
And if you think you can change one of your eating habit try to use olive oil instead of salade dressing. You need to put just a tiny bit. Not the same amount you would for salad dressing (yuck). Olive oil contains the right kind of cholesterol that fights the bad one AND it helps prevent breast cancer.

It may not be easy to switch to it becaise at first it taste kind of violent I think. now I can't use regular oil for anything which is also wrong because you can't fry with olive oil. Or I mean you can but the stomach has a harder time digesting it. Which is actually why I eat little fried stuff.
You'd think I'd be healthier and thinner with those pieces of advise I am giving AND living.
But nope and it is highly because beside for this challenge I tend to forget to eat and I mostly do only a meal a day snacking the whole day through anytime I am hungry. So thanks to this challenge I am changing my habits for a month.
